What is Soak-off Gel Polish?
Gel nail polishes create a very sturdy protection compared to other polishes and hardly ever peel off. These new gel polishes are not exactly uv gel nails and not exactly nail polish, the are kind of a hybrid between the two. Applying a gel polish requires using an UV light or LED light.
What are the benefits?
- Dry time - The UV light dries the polish within 2 min LED light within 30 sec which means no dry time, no smudging, no dents. Long lasting - Soak-off Gel Polish lasts fro 2-3 weeks with no chipping.
- Less damaging - Unlike traditional enhancements you dont have to fear the drills or filling down of your own nails.
- Works on natural nails - While you can add length if you choose, Soak-off gel polish can be used on a natural nail as traditional nail polish.
- You can layer nail polish on top - If you want to change your colour mid-manicure, you can. Paint right over Gel Polish with regular nail polish and remove it with non acetone nail polish remover.
There are many nails salons in Malmö which doesnt remove Gel Polish properlly. They just file away it with the drill like acrylic or gel nails. But that defenitely not the way how it should be done!!!
To remove Soak-off Gel Polish you need special liquid or acetone. Wrap the fingers into foil and keep them for 15-20 min depend on the thickness of nail polish. And then gently remove the gel polish with wooden stick.
